General Description Location. The boutique hotel Hospes Palau de la Mar is located in the centre of Valencia, Spain, next door to the Turia Gardens and within 500 metres of the historic old town. Hotel Features. Situated in the desirable neighbourhood of Eixample Noble, the five-storey Hospes Palau de la Mar brings monotone minimalism to a listed 19th-century townhouse. Guests have complimentary access to the wellness centre's indoor pool and fitness room. Other amenities include a sauna, Turkish bath and treatment rooms offering a range of beauty, massage, and spa services. Guests can relax in the Mediterranean garden in the interior courtyard, or in the lobby with a cup of coffee and complimentary newspapers. Safe-deposit boxes are located at the 24-hour front desk, where multilingual staff can also assist with travel and tourist arrangements. Laundry services can be arranged, and garage parking is available on site. The sharp lines and contemporary decor extends to the hotel's restaurant, Senzone, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seasonal menus feature Mediterranean cuisine, such as Fideua, a local noodle dish. Drinks are available from the cocktail bar, overlooking the courtyard, and room service is offered around the clock. Transportation From Valencia Airport (VLC): Distance to Hospes Palau de la Mar is 15 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive. Getting there. Airport buses run every 20 minutes between the airport's departures terminal and Valencia city centre. Single tickets cost 2.50 EUR. Taxis are available outside arrivals and cost about 20 EUR to the hotel (including an airport supplement). Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Valencia's efficient public transport system includes trams, buses, and an underground metro service. Electric buses run throughout the old city centre, connecting many of the tourist attractions. Valencia's historic city centre is best explored on foot, as many of the narrow streets are pedestrianised. National trains depart from the city centre's Estacion del Norte station, and travel to Madrid, Barcelona, and destinations along the coast.
